Any new industrial undertaking in the Gujarat can get electricity duty exemption for 5 years From the date of production. Duty exemption can get on power (15%) as well as on D G set (60 paise/unit).

2. Expansion unit

Any Additional or Expanded unit in the same premised can get electricity duty exemption
For the 5 years from the date of production of expansion, under the conditions of Policy.
